Simulacros de ERC-Starting Grant 2024
Desde principios a mitad de marzo de 2024, la Agencia Ejecutiva del ERC (ERCEA) irá comunicando mediante correo electrónico las personas que han sido invitadas a entrevista en la convocatoria ERC-Starting Grant 2024.
Para aquellas candidaturas que, habiendo pasado a esta segunda fase con una Host Institution española, deseen entrenarse en cómo afrontar la entrevista del ERC, la Oficina Europea de FECYT organizará simulacros de entrevista en remoto, a fin de reproducir en la medida de lo posible las mismas condiciones que tendrá la entrevista real.
En los simulacros participarán actuales beneficiarios del ERC-grantees- y former panel members expertos, de los diferentes campos ciéntificos que actuarán como panelistas. Estas personas estarán sujetas a un acuerdo de confidencialidad y ausencia de conflicto de interés.
Para poder participar en este servicio, es necesario haber pasado a segunda fase, habiendo sido invitado/a por el ERC a la entrevista correspondiente.
Además será indispensable incribirse en el formulario que se abrirá a principios de marzo.
La inscripción estará disponible desde principios de marzo, momento en el que se lancen las invitaciones desde la ERCEA, y durante un plazo de 15 días, contando a partir de la invitación del ERCEA:
- Social Sciences & Humanities (SH) aproximadamente hasta 16/03/2024
- Physical Sciences & Engineering (PE) aproximadamente 23/03/2024
- Life Sciences (LS) aproximadamente 01/04/2024

From early to mid-March 2024, the ERC Executive Agency (ERCEA) will communicate by email the persons who have been invited to interview in the ERC-Starting Grant 2024 call.
For those candidates who, having passed to this second phase with a Spanish Host Institution, wish to train themselves on how to face the ERC interview, the FECYT European Office will organise mock interviews remotely, in order to reproduce as far as possible the same conditions as the real interview.
The mock interviews will involve current ERC grantees-grantees- and former panel members, from the different scientific fields, who will act as panellists. These persons will be subject to a confidentiality agreement and no conflict of interest.
In order to participate in this service, it is necessary to have passed to the second phase, having been invited by the ERC to the corresponding interview.
It is also essential to register on the form that will be opened at the beginning of March.
Registration will be available from the beginning of March, when the ERCEA will issue the invitations, and for a period of 15 days from the date of the ERCEA's invitation:
- Social Sciences & Humanities (SH) approximately until 16/03/2024
- Physical Sciences & Engineering (PE) approximately 23/03/2024
- Life Sciences (LS) approximately 01/04/2024
