| Description | The sheep and goat population in the cross-border area is an important economic resource for the population due to its capacity to produce meat, milk and dairy products. In order to guarantee the marketing of sheep and goat products, it is necessary that they are offered with full guarantees of food safety. |
| Objectives and Results | The CONCOTSA project aims to continue the activities developed in the COTSA project, which promotes cooperation between cross-border research groups and veterinary professionals, in order to address a common problem of sheep and goat breeds such as the transmission of the Atypical Scrapie disease to humans through the food chain. |
